Well, there is one positive about the recent filmography of NTR, there is also one major negative that has been happening with his films.

The positive thing is that NTR has not made a single scrap film in recent years and this positive streak started with Temper.
However, on the other hand, NTR has not been making flawless great films either. Most of his recent films, apart from the box office approved RRR, have been mediocre to decent films.

However, it appears that NTR is not too bothered about this mediocre and decent filmmaking either. The same can be understood if we look at the fact that he is greatly celebrating, Devara even in the international Japanese market.
The kind of excitement and exuberant that he is showing for this film is beyond comprehension. The hard fact is that this is just a mediocre and arguably face saving film after Devara. But that is not stopping NTR from celebrating it big time.

Now there is a social media discussion on this topic and it is regarding Prashanth Neel. People are finally commenting that NTR appears to have lost his appetite for blockbusters and is good with just about decent films.
The responsibility is now on Prashanth to deliver that one standout film for NTR and make it big. Perhaps this is when NTR will fully recognise his potential and start to appreciate great cinema. The fact that he is content with normal stuff till then is a point of concern.
Neel must reignite the fighting spirit of the true actor in NTR and this will perhaps drive him more towards great cinema rather than mid cinema henceforth.
