The Kannada film Bagheera was in the news because the story and screenplay of this film were provided by Prashanth Neel. The film was publicized as a pan-India film on his brand name.
However, it is now wrapping up its theatrical run with worldwide collections under Rs 30 crore, with nearly 99% of its collections coming from the Kannada market.

The film opened with a poor 3.30 crore across India but gained some momentum in the following days, achieving a fair first-week total of Rs 22 crore worldwide.
The film could not sustain its momentum in the second week, adding around Rs 7 crore more.

The release of Shiva Rajkumar’s Bhairathi Ranagal will further dent Bagheera’s box office run from today.
The film is likely to end its journey with Rs 30 crore worldwide gross including overseas gross of just 1 crore.
