Amazon Prime Video’s Paatal Lok returned with a new season a few days ago and has unexpectedly received a positive response. Audiences have praised its storyline and the performances of the lead cast members.
On the other hand, the new entries among the lead cast have also won the hearts of many people, including Prashant Tamang, who appears as the sniper Daniel. For the unversed, Prashant has been the winner of the reality show Indian Idol in 2007 and is a popular figure among the Nepali community.

Prashant lost his father many years ago in an accident and later joined as a constable for the Kolkata Police. He additionally performed in the police orchestra and later went to the auditions of Indian Idol, where he defeated Amit Paul in the finals.
He then released an album titled Dhanyavad and eventually opted to pursue an additional career in acting. His first film came out in 2010, titled Gorkha Paltan, and continued making appearances in a lot of other films.

Notably, he was on a long break from acting before he was featured in Paatal Lok. He already has a huge fanbase on social media and it seems like it is going to expand considering that audiences have loved his performance.
