Riding high on the success of Dragon, Pradeep Ranganathan is all set to light up this Diwali with DUDE, a pan-India project backed by Mythri Movie Makers.
The film marks the directorial debut of Keerthiswaran and promises an emotional, gritty journey.

The first-look poster dropped today. Pradeep, bruised and intense, gripping a mangalsutra, conveys a powerful visual of loss, rage, and redemption — a raw, intense look that is unlike anything he’s done before.
Joining Pradeep is Mamitha Baiju, who rose to fame with Premalu and has gained her own fan following, alongside veteran Sarath Kumar.

The film’s technical crew is equally strong, with Niketh Bommi handling cinematography and Sai Abhyankkar composing the music.
Mythri Movie Makers, fresh off the success of Good Bad Ugly, is backing DUDE, which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Mythri seems to have invested in the right candidate, Pradeep, who is fast becoming a youth icon.
However, it’s not going to be an easy ride. Suriya, who received another big blow with Retro recently, is looking for a kickass comeback with his Diwali release, Suriya 45 (tentatively titled Vettai Karuppu), directed by RJ Balaji. With Trisha as the heroine, the stakes are high.
