The government of Andhra Pradesh announced the second list of nominated posts today. While 49 posts were given to TDP leaders, nine were given to Janasena and one to BJP.
Most of the TDP leaders who put their blood and sweat into strengthening the party despite the atrocities of YSRCP have been given nominated posts. One example is Chereddy Manjula of Macharla constituency.

Chereddy Manjula grabbed everyone’s attention during the general elections. On the polling day, she refused to leave the polling booth despite being hacked in the head. She was the talk of the state during the elections. She was widely appreciated for the grit she has shown to ensure fair polling in the station.
The party recognized her efforts and awarded her the nominated post for the Andhra Pradesh Arts Crafts & Cultural Society.

In an earlier interview, Manjula revealed that she became the polling agent only to prevent illegal vote rigging, which is common in her village, Rentala, which belongs to the Macherla constituency.
Manjula runs a hotel business in Hyderabad. Despite all the hurdles, she ensured the TDP’s victory in her constituency.
