Minister Konda Surekha’s comments on Naga Chaitanya – Samantha divorce linking KTR to it are disgusting to say the least.

Nagarjuna let out a statement that the Minister should retract the allegations terming them Absurd and false (అసంబద్ధం, అబద్ధం). Some felt Nagarjuna was so patient and his comments were very dignified even though the allegations were so cheap.

Meanwhile, some people felt Nagarjuna’s response was so meek. In fact, they felt Amala Akkineni came out with a strong-worded statement and that is so necessary as the honor of Akkineni family is at stake.

Nagarjuna always tried to stay politically neutral.

By the virtue of his community and due to NT Ramarao’s filmy background, TDP and TDP Governments always gave due respect to the Akkineni family. Nagarjuna tried to cover all fronts by being closer to the Opposite parties of TDP.

He was with Congress during the YSR’s time and later with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

During the Agitation days, KCR used to speak about the N-Convention Violations but Nagarjuna got close to the then TRS Government to safeguard his business interests.

After the recent elections in Telangana, Nagarjuna also tried to strike a balance between BRS and Congress. But Revanth Reddy did not buy that and razed down N-Convention completely.

N-Convention demolition is a rude shock for Nagarjuna. It is an eye-opener that monkey-balancing would not work in Politics.

No political party did come in support of Nagarjuna when N-Convention got demolished because no party owned him.

It is harsh to say but when you try to be here and there in politics, you will belong to nowhere.

If he did not do that, no one can dare to make such cheap talk on such illustrious family.

During N-Convention demolition and now, Nagarjuna and the Akkineni family is left to fend for itself.

Whatever the little support they are getting is because of the ‘women’ angle involved. If it is not there, again like N-Convention issue, the Akkineni family would have to fight its own battle.
