The other day, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and his family were in Prayagaraj to take a dip at Mahakumbh.
He spoke to the media after that briefly. The media asked Pawan Kalyan about West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s criticism of the UP Government for the Stampede that killed at least 30 people.

“If certain incidents occur during the Kumbh Mela, it cannot be considered a management failure. Organizing an event attended by millions of devotees is an immense challenge for any government. No one wishes for unfortunate incidents to happen. As far as I know, the Yogi Adityanath-led government is doing an excellent job at managing the Kumbh Mela. Some incidents (Stampedes) are unfortunate. Such remarks are not justifiable. I am telling senior political leaders not to make such statements. In my opinion, such remarks are inappropriate,” Pawan Kalyan said.
This statement by Pawan Kalyan is very balanced and composed.

But the same balance got missed when he responded about the stampede that took place in Tirumala.
Pawan Kalyan lost cool and troubled his own Government cornering the TTD Board.

He demanded that the Board should tender an apology indicating that it was a Government Failure. Pawan Kalyan, in a way, helped the Opposition with his stand.
“Pawan Kalyan has special opinions reserved only for the BJP. The yardstick gets different when a BJP Government is involved. Why the restrain you exhibited for Uttar Pradesh is not applicable to Andhra Pradesh?,” a section of TDP Supporters are asking.
Pawan Kalyan was at the Ground Zero when the Stampede occurred in Tirumala. He may have lost his cool seeing the suffering of the families that lost their beloved ones. But this is not the case with UP.
The bonhomie between Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu is so strong. We have seen that in NTR Trust Musical Night, a couple of days ago. So, TDP supporters should let go off these small things.
But then, it is always important to be careful when the government (in which he is a part of) is involved. Pawan Kalyan should have put his opinions internally without trying to corner the government before the media.
