Choreographer Shaik Jani alias Jani Master, who has been facing sexual assault charges, has been suspended by the Janasena party with immediate effect.
Jani Master is a member of the Janasena Party and was the Vice-Chairman of the party’s campaign committee during the Andhra Pradesh General Elections 2024.

Last night, a woman filed a sexual assault case against Jani at Raidurgam Police Station. The 21-year-old victim happens to be a choreographer too and used to work under Jani.
In her complaint, the victim accused Jani of sexually harassing and assaulting her. She alleged that he sexually assaulted her during outdoor shoots in cities like Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai.

She also mentioned that Jani Master used to sexually harass her by visiting her residence in Narsingi. Upon receiving the complaint, Raidurgam Police filed a zero FIR and transferred the case to Narisingi Police Station.
Narsingi Police have filed the complaint under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code and started the investigation.

Since morning, the news has been doing rounds on social media as well as mainstream media. Without taking any time, Pawan Kalyan swiftly took action against Jani by suspending him.
A few days ago, TDP Satyavedu MLA Koneti Adimulam also faced sexual assault charges. As soon as the news went viral in the media, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu immediately took action and suspended Adimulam from the party.
In the past, several YCP leaders faced similar allegations, but Jagan Mohan Reddy failed to take action against them. In contrast, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan acted swiftly, which is a welcoming move.
