Pawan Kalyan Surender Reddy Film Shelved: Next Ustaad Bhagat Singh

A few years ago, producer Ram Talluri announced a film with Pawan Kalyan under the direction of Surender Reddy. The project was planned under the SRT Entertainments banner, and a pre-look poster was also designed.

However, despite the announcement, there was no update on the movie for years. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan already has three films in hand, none of which are completed.

Given his busy political commitments, it was uncertain when these films would be finished and released. In this situation, the makers have now officially confirmed that the project with Surender Reddy has been shelved.

While some people on social media are surprised by the cancellation news, it is not entirely unexpected. Producer Ram Talluri had already lost hope in this project a long time ago.

During the release of his last production, Mechanic Rocky, he hinted that the Pawan Kalyan film was unlikely to happen. He had made it clear that, considering Pawan’s commitments, the movie was practically not possible.

On the other hand, director Surender Reddy also moved on without mentioning this project and focused on other opportunities. Though an official statement was not made earlier, the movie was as good as canceled long ago.

Now, the confirmation has just made it official. Surender Reddy is now trying hard to get Venkatesh on board for his next, according to reports.

Meanwhile, doubts are also being raised about the progress of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which Harish Shankar is directing, as even that film has been stalled for a while.

Many speculate that after completing Hari Hara Veera Mallu and OG, Pawan Kalyan might retire from films and concentrate completely on politics as the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh.
