Chandrababu Naidu announced taking Pawan Kalyan’s Brother Naga Babu into the State Cabinet. This decision has ignited discussion on the messed up caste equations in Janasena due to this inclusion.
Naga Babu will be the third Kapu Minister in Janasena which had only four members in the cabinet. All the four belongs to the Upper Caste with the fourth Minister being Nadendla Manohar from the Kamma Community.

Already there is criticism on Pawan Kalyan questioning if there is no eligible BC or SC in the party to give the cabinet berth. But the Deputy CM refuted these allegations.
“Naga Babu worked for the party on par with me. I would have given the Cabinet Berth even if he is not my brother or does not belong to the Kapu community. I do not know Kandula Durgesh’s community,” Pawan Kalyan told Media.

Pawan Kalyan also clarified that Naga Babu will be elected to the Council in March and will be inducted into the Cabinet only after that.

Probably Not. Maintaining Caste Equilibrium is extremely important in Indian Politics. Politicians can say ‘n’ number of reasons whenever they messed the equations but people would not buy that.

If Pawan Kalyan was to take Naga Babu into the Cabinet, he should have thought about it earlier. He should have balanced the equations with Kandula Durgesh. Again, it is not possible to ignore Nadendla Manohar as he struck to the party in most difficult times.
In all probability, there will be no further cabinet berths for Janasena. So it is impossible to correct the caste equations unless Pawan Kalyan sacrifices either or both of Manohar and Durgesh. Even then, Pawan Kalyan will get the bad name of doing that for his brother.
YSR Congress would now try to paint Pawan Kalyan as Castiest and relegate Janasena as the Kapu community party confined only to Godavari districts.
Chandrababu Naidu had sacrificed many senior and efficient Kamma leaders just for the sake of caste equations. Senior leaders like Buchchiah Chowdary, Dhulipalla Narendra, Chintamaneni, Nandamuri Balakrishna, etc.
