Parachute is a Tamil TV series currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar, also available in Telugu dub. It’s a simple, predictable, and straightforward watch.
The show is relatable, and though the story is simple, it works well thanks to its strong casting and good writing.
The show Parachute revolves around two kids and their father. The cast does a great job, with two kids Rudra and Varun delivering solid performances as the on-screen siblings.
Kishore, the Kannada actor known for his work in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films, gives a good performance as the strict father. Another notable Tamil actor, Karthik, plays a cop.
At its core, the show tells the story of two kids who fear their strict father but work hard to navigate life. The plot revolves around their connection to a bike they call “Parachute” and their involvement in a case the police are investigating, as well as why the kids go missing.
The father’s realization of how terrified his kids are becomes a key turning point. Subtle emotions, particularly the bond between the brother and sister, are highlighted throughout.
The two kids Varun (Shakthi Rithvik) and Rudhra (Iyal) performances, along with the realistic portrayal of their relationship, make it feel organic and heartfelt.
If you’re looking for a simple, heartwarming watch, Parachute series offers just that.

The Telugu-dubbed version is well done, and the dubbing feels natural.
