As Vipul Amrutlal Shah looks to continue his heist genre with his upcoming project Hisaab, he shared his expectations from Aankhen during a time when the heist genre was not even popular in India.
During a recent interview, he stated “While everyone discouraged us, we thought India was ready for a subject as novel as Aankhen and we had an amazing cast and technical team working on the film, so we were encouraged to make the film”.

He further added how his young and rebellious mind forced him to make such a film and the crew themselves never knew that the film would be such a huge blockbuster.
Over the years, Aankhen has been highly praised for its over-the-top plot and performances portrayed by high-profile actors including Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar.

Hisaab involves a similar story and involves a huge and thrilling heist involving Jaideep Ahlawat and Shefali Shah. Both renowned actors have already made huge headlines with their OTT successes.
Jaideep Ahlawat has been splendid with his recent performance in Paatal Lok Season 2 and has been receiving a lot of praise for his performance. After Paatal Lok, people have started to like what Jaideep Ahlawat has to offer.
It remains to be seen how Hisaab turns out to be for Vipul Amrutlal Shah and the rest of the crew as the film is expected to release in late 2025.
