Rushikonda Palace has become a matter of shame for the YSR Congress after the election defeat.
The New Government has exposed the Palace to the media and people are shocked at how Jagan misused the Public money to gift himself and his wife a sea-facing mansion.

YSR Congress is trying to bluff it, but it is a government building that can be used for a purpose it deems fit.
Today Botsa Satyanarayana picked the same line in the Council and is trying to whitewash the real issue behind the Rushikonda Palace. Botsa also said there is no need of Public approval as alleged by the Government.

Of course, public approval is not necessary for the YSR Congress. From changing the Capital to constructing this palace, Jagan always made unilateral decisions hence the shocking defeat in the election.
Coming to this issue, When a building is constructed using Public money, the building can be used for any purpose. There is no debate about it.

But then, the real issue is about the purpose of these buildings. No Government can splash 500 Crore for no reason and say the buildings can be used for any purpose.
Everyone in the state knows Jagan believed he will be never out of power and constructed this palace for himself and his wife.
During his tenure of five years, Jagan did not lay a single brick anywhere. He would not construct this palace if he had the slightest hint of losing.
