The admission committee sources revealed that students forfeited Rs 25,000 for unconfirmed seats in govt colleges, while the amount for private college seat forfeitures was Rs 2 lakh.
The postgraduate medical courses, including MD and MS, underwent three admission rounds. The All India Quota seat allocation was done in the first three rounds, with students receiving colleges according to their preferences. However, 2,560 students declined to confirm their admissions, resulting in seats falling vacant.
