Surprisingly, there isn’t a single standout winner.

Squid Game Season 2:
Expectations were high for Squid Game Season 2, but it left viewers disappointed, especially on foreign and also Indian OTT viewers.

RRR: Beyond and Behind:
Netflix India dropped RRR: Beyond and Behind, a making-of documentary about the blockbuster RRR. Surprisingly, it has been well-received by movie fans, earning excellent word-of-mouth on social media. Despite the film’s details being revisited countless times, the documentary’s editing, presentation, and storytelling make it more engaging than many recent films on OTT.

However, it can’t be considered this week’s winner since it’s not a new movie but a documentary about a film released years ago.
Looking at other Indian content, including Sorgavaasal (Tamil), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (Bollywood), and Bhairathi Ranagal (Kannada) films, none stand out as outright winners or bangers on OTT this week. Even internationally streamed content on Indian platforms failed to make a significant impact.
Overall, it’s been a disappointing week for OTT viewers. With no fresh or noteworthy titles, except for RRR: Beyond and Behind, the verdict is clear—OTT lovers have little to celebrate this week.
