A web story named ‘Lawrence – A Gangster Story’ is reportedly in development, and is based on the life of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The film is being produced by ‘Jani Firefox Film Production’ and aims to cover Bishnoi’s journey into the heart of organised crime in India. The Indian Motion Pictures Association has already given a green light to the title of the film.

This news has dropped at a chaotic time after the brutal assassination of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique on October 12. The assassination led to Lawrence Bishnoi’s name surfacing in the limelight once again.
Lawrence Bishnoi has continued to maintain a very strong influence in the crime world, with his connections reaching far corners of India and abroad, despite being in jail since 2014.

Security at actor Salman Khan’s house has also been increased after fresh threats were issued against the actor.
The Mumbai Police received a message from someone claiming to be close to the gang, asking for ₹5 Cr, to end the animosity between Salman and Bishnoi.

Meanwhile, Amit Jani, head of the production house, has promised to deliver a gripping narrative.
He said that the show will remain true to real-life events in Lawrence Bishnoi’s life and aims to capture the impact of his criminal activities on society.
