The Test movie, starring Siddharth, Nayanthara, and Madhavan in the lead roles and directed by S. Sashikanth, was released directly on the Netflix OTT platform on April 4th and has received mixed responses from the audience.
Kollywood audiences, after watching the movie, have commented that the Test movie felt flat and dragged in many places. It was a good decision made by the team to release it on OTT; otherwise, the movie would have ended up as a terrible disaster in theatres.

Also, some netizens on social media particularly criticized Nayanthara, saying her acting performance in this movie is terrible and posted memes that Nayanthara was paid only 10 crores as remuneration for the movie but delivered a 100 crore-worthy performance, as she overacted in many places.
At the same time, Meera Jasmine’s performance in the movie was highly appreciated by the audience, and they commented that she deserves good roles in Kollywood movies in the future.

However, it looks like the Test movie has ended up as a troll fest amongst netizens, and before the release, it was expected that Nayanthara and Siddharth would make a comeback with this movie, but both drowned together with the Test movie.
