After some reports said that Oppo may not launch its latest Reno 9 series in India, here is some other news that Oppo fans may find interesting. A tipster, Paras Guglani, has hinted at the launch of the Oppo Reno 8T 5G for the Chinese and the global market. However, this smartphone is expected to hit the Indian market as Oppo F23. The tipster shared an image that reveals the design of the upcoming Oppo smartphone.

    Oppo F23 5G specs (expected)

As per PhoneEV, Oppo F23 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED 10-bit display with a maximum of 120Hz refresh rate. The report suggested that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset coupled with LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. It may pack a 4800mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support. It is expected to run on Android 13 out of the box. For photography experience, Oppo F23 5G is expected to bring a 108MP primary camera and two 2MP sensors at the back.

There is also a possibility of the 4G variant with the Mediatek Helio G99 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. However, the 4G variant is expected to feature only 33W wired charging support.

In terms of design, Oppo F23 5G or Oppo Reno 8T may feature a curved display on the front with a hole-punch cutout in the top centre with small bezels. The leaks suggest that volume buttons are placed on the left edge while the power key is on the right. At the rear, it is expected to feature a cylindrical camera module on the back panel while housing two large circles.

Sadly, the launch date is yet to be revealed. However, several leaks hint that the expected launch will happen soon.
