All of India has woken up to Operation Sindoor, the air strikes by India on the training grounds of terrorists in PoK and PoJK. There is a strong message in the name Operation Sindoor.
Indian forces struck on terrorist bases post midnight on Tuesday. They attacked nine spots identified as terrorist bases. India sent a strong message to Pakistan with the name of the Operation.

It is being said that the Prime Minister himself suggested the name of the Operation. It is said that the PM was particular that the terrorists and their supporters get the message that they will be terminated wherever they are. Our women lost their husbands, the message should go right across, the PM is said to have told the armed forces.
The terrorists killed 26 innocent people in Baisaran Valley when they they were enjoying a holiday. The men were separated and asked their religion before they were shot dead. The sorrow of their wives moved the entire nation. Among them were newly married couple Cinay Narwal, Himanshi. Himanshi’s plight touched the hearts of the entire nation and she became a symbol of the tragedy. Vinay was also a naval officer.

The name Operation Sindoor also suggests the virtilak that is put on the foreheads of soldiers before they go to war.
The Operation was carried out with perfect coordination by the armed forces. Key bases of terrorist outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaishe Mohammad, Hizbul Mujahideen were hit during the strike.
