    OnePlus Pad 2 Premium Tab May Launch With Snapdragon Chip


    The first OnePlus Pad was first launched in February last year, and the lineup from OnePlus is set to see a new addition soon. Now, 91mobiles has spotted what appears to be the OnePlus Pad 2, on the Geekbench benchmark app. This listing provides insights into the tablet’s performance and reveals some key hardware specifications.     OnePlus Pad 2 Features (Expected)

    According to the Geekbench listing, the purported OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to carry the model number OPD2404, distinct from the original OnePlus Pad with the model number OPD2203. The listing reveals impressive scores of 2,079 in the single-core test and 6,077 in the multi-core test. While the previous generation OnePlus Pad featured the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, new leaks suggest that the upcoming OnePlus Pad 2 could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

    This flagship Snapdragon chipset is expected to be coupled with 8GB of RAM, although additional memory variants may also be launched. The Oneplus Pad 2 is said to run on the Android 14 operating system (OS) at the tie of release. However, key details such as specifications, design, and other features are still unclear.

    According to some earlier leaks, the OnePlus Pad 2 is speculated to feature a large 12.4-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, possibly using an OLED panel.

    The OnePlus Pad 2 is anticipated to be powered by a substantial 9,510mAh battery, likely supporting fast charging technology. 

    Meanwhile, a recent report said that Oppo is expected to launch its third-generation flagship Android tablet this year, which may debut outside its home turf China as the OnePlus Pad 2.

    The Oppo Pad 3 is speculated to be released globally under the name OnePlus Pad 2. The launch of the OnePlus Pad 2 is likely to take place sometime in the second half (H2) of 2024. It is likely to debut not only in global markets but also in India.

    A recent leak, which has surfaced ahead of the official release, as reported by Notebookcheck and first spotted by Mysmartprice, hints at whether the device will feature an upgrade in wired charging capabilities.
