Yesterday on Star Sports Channel, Kamal Haasan revealed that Indian 2 will be out in theatres in July. Here is the official confirmation from the makers. This vigilante action thriller directed by Shankar will hit the big screens on July 12, 2024.
Shankar has taken to his social profiles to announce the release date of this big-ticket entertainer. The first part, Indian, was an industry hit in Tamil, and the film also created a sensation in Telugu (Bharatheeyudu) and Hindi (Hindusthani) with superb collections. Hence, the anticipation for the sequel is sky-high.
The makers will commence the promotions on May 22 by unveiling the first single in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. Anirudh is the music composer. The third installment, Indian 3, is expected to hit the screens in January 2025.
Indian 2’s shoot came to a standstill due to an unfortunate accident, but the production resumed with Udhayanidhi Stalin’s involvement. Lyca Productions and Red Giant Films jointly produced Indian 2. Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, and Brahmanandam played crucial roles.
