Odela 2, a Telugu horror-thriller directed by Ashok Teja, was labeled as a “colossal disaster” when the film could only scrape up a mere 3 lakhs on its 15th day.
Its total net India collection stands at 5.66 crores against its 25 crore budget.

While Tamannaah’s on-screen character was praised, the film, a sequel to Odela Railway Station, was criticized for its direction and execution.
According to trade experts, Odela 2’s failure is highlighted by the fact that it lags by 88% when compared to her previous horror film, Aranmanai 4, which made 50.45 crores by day 15.

Raid 2, even with a clean box office hit, faced criticism for Tamannaah’s item song.
Her performance in Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2 and Kaavaalaa from Jailer were instant hits, and a similar response was expected with “Nasha,” yet it received a backlash for being out of place in a serious, no-nonsense film like Raid.
The producers believed that her appearance would draw attention as it had in prior films, but to their disappointment, these expectations were not met.
For an item number to perform well, it needs to be backed by solid content, or else its recall value is lost when it’s not trending anymore.
In the meanwhile, it would be more exciting if Tamannaah chose work that highlighted her acting prowess, delivering a much-awaited acting delight for her fans.
