Of late, YCP MLC Duvvada Srinivas has been in the news due to his personal issues, be it his relationship with Divvela Madhuri or a dispute with his wife and daughter.
Now, he is back in the news once again as the AP police served him notices under Section 41A in connection with the controversial comments he made by showing his footwear against Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan in the past. The police served him the notices today and asked him to attend questioning.

Meanwhile, Duvvada questioned why Janasena workers who threatened him are not being punished despite an FIR being registered against them.
He said, “It is okay to file a case against me. But as soon as the NDA came into power, Janasena party workers abused me and gave me death threats. I filed a complaint against them. An FIR was registered, but no action was taken. None of them have been arrested.”

“If Janasena party workers abuse me and threaten me, you don’t serve notices to them. But you serve notices to me and try to arrest me for the comments I made two years ago,” he added.
Duvvada also said that even Madhuri filed a complaint against NDA workers who made derogatory comments about her, but no FIR has been filed against them till now.

He called it hypocrisy by the NDA government in the state. He said that if people try to snub them, they will come out more fiercely, just like how every action has an equal reaction.
