More than CM Chandrababu Naidu or Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Sharmila has become a pain for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the recent past. She is the one who has been constantly bashing Jagan for his wrongdoings.
Sharmila said that Jagan’s deal with Adani is a history made not at the state level but at the international level. She termed the bribe of Rs. 1750 crore to the former Chief Minister as a historical event for sure.

Taking it to X, she went on to add that Jagan should be felicitated with a shawl but should also be given an Oscar for delivering lies in this matter. She also demanded Jagan answer a few questions before getting ready for the felicitations.
“If there are no transmission charges, why didn’t Adani offer Rs. 1.99 per unit to AP like Gujarat? Why did you agree to Rs. 2.49? Didn’t your own Energy Department state Rs. 1.70 as the maximum transmission cost?” Sharmila questioned.

Sharmila said that never in the country have we seen a Chief Minister maintaining secrecy about his official meeting with a business tycoon.
Sharmila also lashed out at Jagan for blatantly delivering false statements. “Were you not the AP CM then? U.S. agencies like the FBI and SEC have clearly stated that Rs. 1750 crore were given to the AP CM. Their 100-page report cites clear evidence from multiple sources. How do you deny this?”

Sharmila says, “You criticize the previous TDP government for high PPL prices and a ₹35,000 crore burden. But what have you done after coming into power? Why didn’t you order an investigation?”
She said that by making long-standing agreements with Adani, Jagan indirectly showcased how much corruption he has done. She challenged him to promise on the Bible and deny all these allegations if he believes they are not true.
