The ongoing test series between India and Australia is going on at a fiery note with both teams throwing punches at each other. However, there is one single player who is facing the most amount of heat in this series.
They said player is none other than the captain of the Indian side, Rohit Sharma. He has been agonisingly poor with the bat in this series and he’s now the focal point of almost every discussion on social media.

Not once has Rohit Sharma crossed the single digit score in the series. As shocking, as it may sound, he has scored few runs, than bowler Jaspreet Bumrah who comes out at 10 or 11 to bat in the innings.
Even today, Sharma got out on three runs. This pretty much, some of the kind of horrifying series that he has been having.

Strangely enough, India looked far better without Rohit Sharma as was seen in the first test match that was comprehensively won by India. After Rohit‘s entry in the second test, things went poorly, followed by another mediocre performance in the third test.
While it was hoped that Rohit would get better in the fourth test match, he again failed by scoring three runs. This has led to a huge social media outrage on the captain with several social media users, commenting that it is time for him to retire from test format.

Even hardcore fans of Rohit Sharma are commenting that it is time for him to call it quits for his test career because he has more or less become a burden for the side. As the famous saying goes “you either leave like a hero or stay long enough to become the villain.”
