Initially, creators won’t get strikes, but their videos with clickbait titles will be removed. The aim is not to punish these channels harshly but to educate them on delivering the right content to their viewers.
These deceptive tricks often frustrate viewers and can lead to misinformation as well, especially if the video relates to some breaking news. This is why India is the main focus as it has a growing user base and news content.

While YouTube will only monitor new uploads going forward, they encourage creators to review their older videos to avoid issues in the future. It is a positive step for the viewers but it remains to be seen how strictly these rules will be implemented.
