Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is generating incredible hype on a pan-India level, with trade experts predicting that it could shatter opening-day records to smithereens.
Originally, Vicky Kaushal’s historical war drama Chhaava was set to clash with Pushpa 2 on December 6.

However, given the immense buzz for Pushpa 2, reports suggested that the makers of Chhaava were considering a postponement. They were sure their film would get washed away in the tsunami called Pushpa 2.
According to the latest updates, however, Chhaava still seems to be scheduled for December 6.

The industry is currently facing a shortage of films, and the remaining releases are clashing unnecessarily, which only adds to the strain.
December 6 isn’t even a holiday, which makes this clash potentially damaging. Not only does it limit each film’s business potential, but it also affects the initial earnings period, when the distributor’s SHARE percentage is at its highest.

While a film may recover NET earnings in later weeks, these weeks yield lower SHARE percentages for distributors.
Both Pushpa 2 and Chhaava (particularly in Maharashtra) have the potential to be historic blockbusters. Such events are exciting for the box office, yet a clash would reduce the chances of either reaching its full potential.
However, the biggest box office trade website states that Pushpa 2 is still set to release solo, and Chaava is postponed.
Now there are reports that Chaava’s trailer is getting ready to be released soon.
So, there is confusion and chaos right now, and there is no clarity on whether Pushpa 2 Hindi will be a solo release.
