The Baltimore Ravens‘ game against the Las Vegas Raiders was briefly delayed Sunday after a member of the chain gang suffered a medical emergency.
A sideline official collapsed during the second quarter of the NFL Week 2 matchup in Baltimore and received CPR on the sidelines.
The official, who was working the first-down chain marker, was later taken off the field on a stretcher and transported to hospital.
After the chain crew member went down, players from both teams took the knee as Ravens medical staff attended to the official.
The Ravens said on X that the official was ‘alert and responsive’ as he was taken off of the field.
He was also seen waving his hand and moving his mouth as he was stretchered off, according to The Athletic.
The game was delayed for about 10 minutes during the ideal.
