Ajay Devgn looks to start 2025 with a banger as he will be seen in upcoming period-drama Azaad. The film will also feature debutants Aaman Devgn and Rasha Thadani. Ajay’s nephew Aaman and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha are seen involved in a romantic angle in the film’s official trailer.
The story of the film revolves around a coveted horse named Azaad and a young stable boy (Aaman) who aims to ride the majestic horse but is unable to prove his worth so that he can control the legendary horse.

As normal as it sounds, the trailer showcases both the newcomers with a pre-independence look and showcases them generically. Rasha Thadani looks good on screen but does not have an attractive appearance or personality to attract viewers.
While her persona fades in front of Aaman, Ajay’s nephew himself looks weak and mediocre having minimal charisma and a poor personality making him look like a side character throughout the trailer.

What makes the trailer stand out is the immaculate presence of Ajay Devgn. Devgn’s dialogue delivery and overall personality are something we have seen in several period dramas before including RRR and Tanhaji.
His look and charisma truly set up the pace of the film but unfortunately, by the early looks of the film, it looks to be another underwhelming release for Bollywood. While the plot and performances might be better upon release, the film looks to struggle for the debutants at the box office.

As it releases on January 17, 2025, only time will tell if it will be able to showcase both the newcomers the way they deserve or nepotism factor will again rise hiding underwhelming performances from both stars.
