Juliette Pastore, fiancee of Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali, was in high spirits as she joined the Magpies’ faithful in London ahead of Sunday’s Carabao Cup final.
A regular at St James’ Park, Juliette embraced the pre-match celebrations, posing with fans and draping herself in Newcastle flags—one of which featured Sandro’s face in a Birra Moretti-style design, highlighting his move from Milan to Tyneside in 2023.
The Italian fashionista was not the only Newcastle WAG caught up in the excitement. Joelinton’s partner Thays Gondim De Lira also joined in the build-up, alongside their son, who had dyed his hair white to match his father’s.
The Magpies are hoping to end their 70-year trophy drought against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. The match is set to kick off at 16:30 (GMT) at Wembley Stadium, with 32,000 Newcastle fans expected to make the journey.
This is Newcastle’s second chance in three years to win the EFL Cup under Eddie Howe, after suffering a 2-0 defeat by Manchester United in 2023’s final. However, Liverpool will be looking to make a statement after crashing out of the Champions League.
On the night before that game, the Toon took to Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden to make their presence felt in London with a massive turnout. Among them was Pastore and Thays Gondim De Lira.

A familiar face at St James’ Park, Juliette has been a regular presence in the stands ever since Tonali made his high-profile switch from AC Milan in the summer of 2023.
She was by his side when he arrived on Tyneside via private jet to complete his move, and in the months that followed, she quickly embraced life in the North East.
That included an unexpected visit to The Job Bulman in Gosforth, where a table had been reserved in Sandro’s name, much to the surprise of both staff and customers at the Wetherspoons pub.
Her unwavering support for Sandro was evident during his toughest moments too. When he was handed a year-long ban from football due to betting offences, Juliette stood by him, offering both public and private encouragement.
Earlier this month, she had reason to celebrate as the Italian midfielder proposed, with Juliette announcing their engagement on Instagram.
Now, with Newcastle on the brink of potential silverware, Juliette has once again thrown herself into the excitement, traveling to London to join fans in the build-up to the final.
Just like the tens of thousands of Geordies who made their way south via train, plane, and car, she was very much in the party mood as she soaked up the atmosphere in Covent Garden, a traditional gathering point for Newcastle supporters ahead of major matches.
Juliette wasn’t the only Newcastle WAG getting involved in the festivities. Joelinton’s partner was also spotted soaking up the atmosphere, accompanied by their young son, who had dyed his hair white in tribute to his father.
Joelinton’s partner shared several photos of herself in Newcastle kit on her Instagram – showing her support ahead of Sunday’s Carabao Cup final.
Liverpool won the EFL Cup last season but will be looking for their first trophy of the Arne Slot era. The Reds will start as clear favourites, despite missing star right back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Newcastle have availability issues of their own. Lewis Hall, Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles will all miss the final with various injury issues, while former Liverpool youth player Anthony Gordon is suspended.
Liverpool have dominated their head-to-head record against Newcastle, with the latter having last tasted victory over the Reds in December 2015.
