Nithiin is gearing up for a comeback with Thammudu, an emotional action drama directed by Vakeel Saab filmmaker Venu Sriram.
Set for a theatrical release this Friday, the film marks Nithiin’s third collaboration with veteran producer Dil Raju, and expectations are riding high.

Now, Thammudu will stream on Netflix a few weeks after its theatrical run. Meanwhile, Star Maa has clinched the satellite rights for television broadcast.
This Netflix deal could significantly boost the film’s digital reach, especially if Thammudu performs well in theatres.

Given Netflix’s stronger global presence compared to Amazon Prime Video in terms of visibility and curation, a successful theatrical run could translate into greater OTT impact for Thammudu.
However, if the film doesn’t work in theatres, no Netflix can save Thammudu on OTT.
Thammudu boasts an ensemble cast featuring Laya, Sapthami Gowda, Varsha Bollamma, Dithya, and Swasika, with music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath. Backed by a solid team and emotionally charged promos, the film is positioned to be a key release this season.
With theatrical hype, strategic OTT backing, and a prime satellite partner in place, Thammudu is aiming to make noise both in cinemas and on screens at home — the kind of dual success Telugu cinema thrives on today.
