Nikola Jokic has gone viral over the weekend after NBA fans claimed that the Denver Nuggets star looked ‘hammered’ while celebrating his bronze medal with Serbia.

The 29-year-old center, who had the fifth triple-double in Olympic history in Serbia’s third-place win (93-83) over Germany on Saturday, was seen stumbling after lining up with teammates and playing with one of their medals, as shown on social media.

He then lifted his fist while holding on to his peers and posing for snaps.

The 2023-24 NBA MVP looked even more inebriated in another post on X, as he was shirtless and looking blush with a golden chain showing off his jersey No. (15) around his neck.

‘How much did he have to drink to be that turn at his size,’ a fan asked.

‘Honestly that’s what I’m wondering also,’ another X user replied.

‘too much time between these games,’ someone else joked.

‘do you think Jokic even remembers this tomorrow,’ a different person wondered.

Often considered the greatest draft steal in NBA history, ‘The Joker’ finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists to help Serbia claim its first medal since winning silver in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

Serbia bounced back after nearly upsetting the four-time defending gold medalist US in the semifinals (95-91).

Vasilije Micic added 19 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic, of the Atlanta Hawks, had 16.

Jokic joined Sasha Belov of the former Soviet Union, the United States’ LeBron James (twice) and Slovenia’s Luka Doncic as the only players with Olympic triple-doubles.

Saturday’s third-place game was a rematch of last year’s FIBA World Cup final, which was won by Germany. Serbia led throughout against Germany, building as much as a 19-point lead in the third quarter.

Franz Wagner, of the Orlando Magic, had 19 points to lead Germany while his little brother Mortiz, who’s also on the Magic, added 16.

The World Cup win was part of a 12-game win streak in major international competition for the Germans, who won their first four games in Paris to reach the semifinals. But they lost their final two, also falling to host France on Thursday.
