This morning, Nayanthara shared an open letter to the public, criticizing Dhanush for not giving a NOC to use Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’s movie songs and clips for her wedding documentary series, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale.
Nayanthara, in her letter, starts her criticism of Dhanush by mentioning the “Son of Kasthuri Raja” and the “Brother of Selvaraghavan,” claiming that Dhanush is a “Nepo Kid” and portraying herself as a self-made star.

Dhanush has acquired many awards and is one of the most celebrated actors in South India due to his hard work and sincere efforts. Nayanthara is nowhere near Dhanush in terms of her performances, say the people.
Although Dhanush may be wrong for not giving an NOC, these nepotism-related comments from Nayanthara have triggered the Tamil people, and now many people on social media are supporting Dhanush.
While some people support Nayanthara for her open statement, most are now siding with Dhanush, as they find Nayanthara’s criticisms meaningless and accuse her of doing fake publicity for her marriage documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale.
Also, many people are now questioning Nayanthara. She mentioned in the letter that Dhanush is the producer and legally holds the rights, and it is his own decision. Then what is the purpose of this letter? Was Nayanthara’s intention to just defame Dhanush for not giving an NOC?

As per reports, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan was a loss-making venture for Dhanush because the movie, initially budgeted at ₹6 crores, ended up with a budget of ₹16 crores. Although it was a profitable venture for distributors, it was a loss for Dhanush.
So, Dhanush has all the rights to ask for the copyright claim while using his own produced movie clips, say audiences on social media.
By seeing Nayanthara’s open letter, one thing is clear: Dhanush is not vengeful toward Nayanthara, but Nayanthara seems more vengeful toward Dhanush, as these matters should be sorted legally and not by defaming the opposition in public, say the public.

Also, many distributors and popular social media personalities are now supporting Dhanush, and it looks like a misfire for Nayanthara after her criticism.
However, a few heroines who have previously worked with Dhanush, such as Anupama Parameswaran, Nazriya, Parvathy, and Aishwarya Lekshmi, have come forward to support Nayanthara in her issue against Dhanush.
