The function was scheduled to begin at 9 am and conclude at 1 pm, Many social media influencers from Coimbatore were invited, and the function invitation stated that influencers could take photographs with Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan after the function.
However, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan arrived at the function only by 2 pm. Many disappointed influencers have posted about this, saying that this is so cruel. The function started at 9 am, but both of them arrived only at 2 pm, and their late arrival insulted the whole public and influencers who were waiting for them.

After coming to the event, Nayanthara just spoke briefly, and her managers addressed the gathering most of the time. Furthermore, when the national anthem was played at the end, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, did not stand and show respect, instead they moved to another room while it was playing.
Then, the couple gave photographs only for the minimum number of influencers and left the function. This has become the talk of the town, and many influencers were posting about this, mentioning that Nayanthara is so arrogant, and behaves in a super celebrity attitude.
