In their movies, both didn’t mind playing name-sake heroes alongside a group of other actors who actually contributed significantly to the success of the films.

That is the secret of their success. Had they held unrealistic expectations of being solo leads, the results would have been different. Simha Koduri, in particular, has experienced failure as a solo lead.
Instead of having unrealistic ambitions, these two should realize what worked for them: the fun scripts and the ensemble cast that contributed to their success. They should continue with the same strategy if they want to survive in the industry in the future.
