Nara Lokesh has been a Minister in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet in 2017-19. Back then, he did not contest as an MLA and came into Naidu’s cabinet as an MLC.
He was the best-performing Minister back then with several Awards from the Central Government.

But then, Lokesh turned a blind eye to Jagan’s vicious propaganda. As a result, he lost his first election from Mangalagiri in 2019.
He improved his oratory and subject skills and emerged as a leader by staying with the party cadre and walking for 3132 Kilometers.

Mangalagiri is one constituency TDP did not win after 1985. He did not shy away from contesting a difficult seat. And he did not leave the seat even after the 2019 election defeat.
In 2024, he has the highest majority (91,413 votes majority) among all the celebrities.

After the elections, Lokesh is rightly balancing his duties as the MLA and the Minister.
He is bringing radical reforms in the Education. He had ordered the removal of names and political colors to everything related to the Education. The schemes if any are being named after our great leaders.
On the investments front, AP just started making big strides under Lokesh’s leadership by bringing TCS, Biogas Plants by Reliance Industries, a Greenfield Steel Plant near Anakapalli, and others.
As an MLA, Lokesh is being available for the people of his constituency. He is holding Praja Darbar in their Undavalli Residence and is directly listening to the problems of the people.
Some of the issues are being solved on the spot and some are being forwarded to the Departments. There is also a follow-up mechanism to ensure they are redressed as soon as possible. So far Lokesh had conducted 49 days of Praja Darbar and tomorrow is likely to be the 50th day.
In this Praja Darbar, the problems of 1000s of the people are solved.
Lokesh is also being very active on X and is solving the issues whichever comes to his notice. He also gave an email id through which people can reach out to him directly in case of any problems. This approachability is making wonders for Lokesh and TDP in Mangalagiri.
Easily, he is the most accessible Minister/MLA.
