In a latest incident, Lokesh promised financial assistance to a student who was unable to join IIIT Lucknow despite getting a seat, due to financial problems.

A student named Basavayya Chebrolu, hailing from Athili village in the Tanuku constituency of West Godavari district, took X to share his situation to Lokesh.
Basavayya stated that he secured the 930th rank in IIT JAM (Joint Exam for Masters) 2024 and got a seat in the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Lucknow.

However, the academic fees of the course is around Rs. 4 lakhs and given his financial situation, Basavayya couldn’t afford it. He conveyed the same to Lokesh.
In just an hour, Lokesh responded and promised to sponsor Basavayya’s education. “You will study at IIIT Lucknow. You will pursue your dream. Let me take care of the fee. All the best, Basavayya!”
Netizens were amazed by Lokesh’s quick response and prompt action. They praised him as an inspirational leader and a blessing to Andhra Pradesh.
