Recently, senior leader Kinjarapu Atchannaidu was asked about this matter.
Atchannaidu stated that he personally requested everyone in the party to refrain from discussing it publicly, as it is something everyone already knows and will happen at the right time.

When pressed by the media for his personal opinion, Atchannaidu said that even a small child in Andhra Pradesh would know the answer. He emphasized that it is widely understood in political circles that Lokesh will lead the party in the near future. Atchannaidu also made it clear that Nara Lokesh is the party’s CM candidate.
By voicing his opinion, Atchannaidu joins the growing number of leaders openly supporting Lokesh’s elevation. However, he urged other leaders to exercise restraint and wait until the key members of the party make an official announcement.
