Andhra Pradesh cabinet minister Nara Lokesh hit back at YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for spreading fake news through his Sakshi media on the flood relief.
Sakshi accused CM Chandrababu Naidu of mismanaging Rs. 534 crore in flood relief funds. It alleged that the government spent Rs. 368 crores for food, Rs. 23 crores for undistributed matchboxes and candles, Rs. 26 crores for water bottles and Rs. 2 crore for drones.

However, Lokesh exposed Jagan’s fake propaganda by giving calculations of each and every penny spent for the flood relief in the NTR district.
The government has reportedly released a total of Rs. 89 crore for immediate flood relief, of which Rs. 79 crore has been spent, leaving Rs. 10 crore remaining in the fund.

Sharing official statistics, Lokesh wrote, “Faku Jagan has yet to give a single rupee of the Rs. 1 crore he promised to the flood victims. The person who didn’t contribute even a water packet or biscuit is now spreading lies against the government.”
“He spread fake news claiming Rs. 23 crore was spent on candles and matchboxes when in reality only Rs. 23 lakhs were used. Our figures are transparent, unlike the shady GOs and misleading statistics from Jagan’s government,” Lokesh added.
