Nani’s latest film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, after a decent theatrical run, made its way to Netflix on September 26. Despite significant anticipation, the film didn’t fully meet expectations.
While it grossed over ₹90 crores globally, trade experts believe it could have easily crossed ₹125 crores if it had delivered on its promise.

Directed by Vivek Athreya and featuring Nani, SJ Suryah, and Priyanka Mohan, the movie received a similar average response on OTT as it did in theaters.
However, one aspect that has sparked widespread trolling is Priyanka Arul Mohan’s performance. Her portrayal, especially in critical dramatic and emotional scenes like when Nani’s character reveals his true self, was criticized for being expressionless and flat.

Many viewers feel because of her lifeless performance many scenes failed to create the necessary impact. If some other actress had been cast, the film would have made much more sense.
Priyanka is a good-looking actress but in terms of histrionics, she is a total failure. Nani and Vivek Athreya made the biggest mistake by casting her in such an important role in the film.
