Nance Mace Kamala Harris: Nancy Mace slammed for ‘I will say Kamala’s name any way I want to’ comment | World News

South Carolina Rep Nancy Mace faced the heat on social media after she insisted on mispronouncing Vice President Kamala Harris’ name on a CNN panel. Nancy declined to condemn Donald Trump’s racist attack on Kamala Harris saying that she did not hear what Trump said. The panel told her that at a convention of the Black journalists, Trump said Kamala Harris turned Black and doubted whether Kamala was Black or India.
Nancy Mace said Kamala is mixed race, without condemning the comment. And then as she pronounced Kamala in a different way and was quickly pointed out, she said, “I will say Kamala’s name any way that I want to.”
Donald Trump mispronounces Kamala Harris’ name and writes it as ‘Kamabla’ in his Truth Social posts. He also said that he did not care about the right way of pronouncing the name as the media would always say his way was wrong, Trump said.

Mace’s wrong pronunciation was countered by Michael Eric Dyson, author, professor and CNN commentator. But Mace said, “I just did (mispronounce) and I’ll do it again.”
When Dyson called it disgusting, Mace said. “You know what, you know what’s disgusting to women is her disrespect of women,” Mace said. “She doesn’t know what a woman is. And 25 years ago…” Dyson stopped her and said, “White women don’t have the ability to tell Black women who paid the price of blood to make this country what it is to tell them they’re not real women.”

“25 years ago…” Mace resumed, “I became the first woman to graduate from Citadel Military College in South Carolina…I fought my way…”
“So pronounce her name right,” Dyson added
After the show, Nancy posted a photo of her having a cup of coffee which she said she needed “after taking on the Radical Left last night”.
