It is known that the HYDRAA wing of the Telangana government took a drastic yet measured step of demolishing the N Convention in Hitech City.

This property is owned by Akkineni Nagarjuna and it has been under the radar for many years as it is touted to be an illegal construction that occupies the Thammidi Kunta lake. Today, HYDRAA demolished the property.
Incidentally, Nagarjuna has now stated that he is pained by the development and vowed to go to court about the same.

Pained by the unlawful manner of demolition carried out in respect of N Convention, contrary to existing stay orders and Court cases. The land is a Patta land, and not even an inch of tank plan is encroached.
In respect of the building constructed inside the private land, there is a stay order granted against any earlier illegal notice for demolition.

Today clearly, the demolition was carried out wrongfully based on misinformation. No notice was issued prior to carrying out the demolition this morning. As a law-abiding citizen, if the Court before which the matter is pending, had decided against me, I would have carried out the demolition myself, Nagarjuna stated.
The senior hero and businessman added that he will take the matter to court and fight against the authorities involved with the same.
