Naga Chaitanya’s Loss, Sundeep Kishan’s Gain?

Sankranti is a traditionally significant time for the film industry, often seeing both big-budget and smaller films perform exceptionally well. This festive period is known for record-breaking collections as families come together to celebrate.

Producer Dil Raju is betting big on Ram Charan’s upcoming film, Game Changer, directed by Shankar.

Reports suggest that Dil Raju aims to secure over 50% of the theaters in the Telugu states for Game Changer, along with special benefit shows and early screenings.

Balakrishna’s upcoming film directed by Bobby is projected to take up around 25% of the theater slots.

In contrast, it looks like Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel will likely miss the Sankranthi 2025 release window due to various reasons.

This scenario leaves Game Changer and NBK 109 as the main competitors, but a box office clash between Ram Charan and Balakrishna may not be as thrilling, as their fan bases don’t typically rival each other, potentially leading to a boring box office clash.

With Venkatesh’s film and Thandel opting out, there’s a solid opportunity for Sundeep Kishan’s Majaka to take advantage and come out as the winner.

Majaka, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, is well-positioned to capitalize on the Sankranti release slot. Known for delivering mass commercial hits, Trinadha Rao Nakkina’s direction could connect well with the festive audience.

Majaka seems to be a perfect film to celebrate during a joyful festival like Sankranthi. However, a lot will depend on the songs, promos, and trailer for the audience to get excited for this one.

If things fall in place, it might turn out to be a lottery for Sundeep Kishan.
