The convention center was built in the buffer zone of a lake and has been in talks for years now.

N-Convention is built on 10 acres. As per the executive engineer (North Tank Division), the FTL area of Thammidi Kunta is 29.24 acres and the encroachments by N-Convention are around 1.12 acres in FTL and 2 acres in the buffer zone.

It is a shock how the Government acted so swiftly in this matter.

This move serves many purposes for Revanth Reddy and will gain a lot of political capital.

Revanth Reddy was a dynamic leader and brought Congress to power single-handedly in the state. But then, there is an indication that he is unable to act independently and is always toeing in line with the high command’s instructions.

This demolition is Revanth’s first attempt to make his own mark.

KTR is trying to attack Revanth Reddy saying that HYDRAA is focused only on the properties of the BRS leaders to harass them. Revanth rebutted that with this.

Revanth Reddy will try to convince the people that he is serious about clearing encroachments and will spare no one in the process.

N-Convention is the right pick to convey this message because it has been the most popular topic for many years. Also, Nagarjuna being its owner will get maximum publicity.

There is a section of core-Telangana supporters who feel that KCR did nothing in ten years after making big claims of ‘Andhra Dopidi’. Revanth Reddy wants to gain the Telangana Champion title with them.

The same people call Revanth Reddy a Chandrababu man and Pro-Andhra as a result. Demolishing a property belonging to an actor with Andhra roots also serves the purpose.

The last objective is the biggest of all the above. Revanth Reddy is of the opinion that the BRS Top leadership and other leaders amassed huge properties in 80 villages around Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar Lakes by bringing the G.O. No. 111.

Many constructions have started there already.

If KCR won a third term, the city would be expanded on that side and they would have made an unbelievable amount of money.

HYDRAA’s final destination is those areas. All that HYDRAA is doing in the remaining areas is more of net practice.

KTR’s Janwada Farm House is also likely to get its turn sooner or later.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath earned the name of ‘Bulldozer Chief Minister’ for demolishing illegal structures in that state. That name helped Yogi big time with the local voters and even at the National level.

Revanth Reddy would want that ‘Bulldozer Chief Minister’ title shedding the title of ‘Congress CM’.

In every way, N-Convention demolition is a Multi-purpose project for Revanth Reddy and will bring a lot of political capital.

When the bulldozers come to the BRS properties, before criticizing Revanth Reddy, KTR or anyone should answer why N-Convention was left untouched between 2014 and 2023.

If Revanth Reddy razed down a couple of properties belonging to Congress leaders, it will mean the Game is Over.
