Mythri Movie Makers Low Promotions

Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly is all set for a grand release on April 10, but the film’s promotional campaign has been unusually low-key.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers on a massive budget, the film features Ajith in three distinct shades.

Despite its pan-India appeal and high expectations, there seems to be minimal buzz surrounding its release.

Interestingly, Sunny Deol’s Jaat, also produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is hitting screens on the same day. While the film’s trailer received a positive response from exhibitors and audiences, the overall buzz remains just decent.

Industry estimates suggest that Jaat could open anywhere between 10-12 crores net on its first day, but the lack of aggressive marketing could limit its potential.

Given Sunny Deol’s massive success with Gadar 2, expectations were sky-high, and fans hope the film isn’t shortchanged due to poor promotions.

This lack of hype has sparked discussions in the film industry. Mythri Movie Makers is known for executing aggressive promotional strategies to generate maximum buzz for their films. However, this time, they seem to be keeping promotions at a bare minimum, even as the release date nears.

After the failure of Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith is banking heavily on Good Bad Ugly. Sunny Deol also needs to prove that Gadar 2’s success was not a fluke, and he is still a superstar who can deliver big hits without any brand.

There are concerns about whether these films will reach a wider audience without strong promotions.

Whether this silent strategy will work, or backfire remains to be seen. Fans are now wondering if any last-minute surprises will boost interest before the release.
