Eight changes have been made by United’s manager from the team that defeated Everton on Friday. For United, the starting lineup includes Heaton, Martinez, Mainoo, Maguire, McTominay, Fred, Elanga, and Garnacho. The players that must make room are De Gea, Varane, Shaw, Casemiro, Eriksen, Rashford, Martial, and suspended Fernandes.

The big team news is that Erik ten Hag has put his trust in 17-year-old Kobbie Mainoo to help lead United to the semifinals. In a friendly match against Cadiz, Mainoo scored after travelling to Spain with the United team for their winter training camp. Dean Holden, the manager of Charlton, makes just one adjustment to the team that defeated Lincoln 2-1 on Saturday. Craig MacGillivray is replaced in goal with Ashley Maynard-Brewer moving up from the bench.
