An Air India flight heading to New York from Mumbai was diverted to Delhi on Monday due to a bomb threat. The plane had 239 passengers and 19 crew members on board.
After landing in Delhi, the authorities followed standard security procedures to inspect the aircraft thoroughly. Fortunately, no suspicious items were found during the search.

The bomb threat was received through a post on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). The authorities are currently investigating the source of this threat.
All passengers were safely taken off the plane and are now going through security checks. The airline staff is working to minimize any inconvenience caused by this situation, and passengers will be moved to hotels for their stay until the next flight is arranged.

Air India has rescheduled the flight to depart for New York from Delhi on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol visited the Delhi airport to monitor the situation and ensure that all necessary arrangements were made for the affected passengers.

On the same day, two IndiGo flights from Mumbai also received bomb threats but were safely moved to secure areas for inspection.
