Ami Je Tomar for many Bollywood lovers is not just a song but an emotion but fans feel that it has been ruined in the latest version. The goosebump-inducing performance to this song was first given by Vidya Balan in 2007 with the mesmerising voice of Shreya Ghoshal.
In the sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Arijit Singh lent his voice to the track and Kartik Aryan performed a breathtaking Taandav to it. With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 soon releasing this Diwali, fans had thought that Ami Je Tomar 3.0 will hold thrice the power.

But it seems to have fallen short of expectations! In spite of having the dancing legend Madhuri Dixit along with the original Manjulika, Vidya Balan.
Fans started sharing their reviews on social media ever since the song came out. Many felt that there has been a lot of CGI work, the actresses are also de-aged extensively, many felt that the dance sequence was shot separately for both the actresses and later combined.

The overall quality of performance is quite below the bar. However, fans praised Shreya Ghoshal’s vocal genius and loved that despite the flat dance she helped retain the true magic of the song.
