But has time to party in Santa Claus costume with celebrities, a viral post against Dhoni read.
Several social media users are of the opinion that Dhoni who has been remaining away from Media for all these months, suddenly popped up for Christmas celebrations. There’s a religious angle to this trolling as well.
There are several comments on social media about how even Christian cricket players celebrated Christmas in low-key manner while Dhoni being a Bihari Hindu has celebrated it like his own.
While it is well within Dhoni‘s right to celebrate, which ever festival, he feels like, it must be understood that social media is hostile place and anyone can get trolled here for any which reason.
The neutral assessment could be that Dhoni doesn’t deserve this hate just for celebrating Christmas at the comfort of his house, but again that’s how social media is.
