At IIFA 2024, Mrunal Thakur shared her thoughts on how cinema is evolving and how audiences are embracing films like Laapataa Ladies and Animal.
Speaking about Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, she highlighted the versatility of actors, saying, “Ranbir Kapoor is the same actor who played Barfi, so why not appreciate his ability to take on roles as different as Animal and Barfi? If you enjoy a film, that’s great. If not, maybe it’ll work for you next time.”

Mrunal recently made headlines by winning the Best Actress award at The Oniros Film Awards in New York for her role in Hi Nanna. The film earned widespread recognition, winning 12 awards, including Best Film, Best Actor, and Best Director.
On her Hi Nanna win, Mrunal expressed her joy, saying, “Portraying this character was incredibly rewarding, and being recognized for it is humbling. I’m deeply thankful to my fans for their constant love and support.”
